Questions about reviews

Why are there only positive reviews?

  • The site is about recommending a good read to others. You wouldn't recommend a book you hated, now would you?

Does that mean I can only post positive comments?

  • No, but please remember, you should be commenting on the book, not the review, and certainly not on the reviewer's taste in literature!

Are the word count limits flexible?

  • Yes, but please don't write one line reviews or go too far over the upper limit.

Can I review more than one book in the same review?

  • Yes, but only if it's a trilogy or a series of books.

What kind of books can I review?

  • As long as they meet our guidelines, you can review any kind of book you like, fiction or non-fiction, any genre or none.

I want to review a book, but it doesn't seem to fit into the available categories. What do I do?

  • If it really won't fit, please contact us and we'll make a new category.
